📣 Défi Trousse de radon – Rappel de cueillette

Pour ceux et celles qui se sont inscrits au Défi Trousse de radon, veuillez venir récupérer votre trousse à l’Hôtel de ville (59, rue Leslie) d’ici le jeudi 11 décembre.

Nous avons également des trousses supplémentaires! Les résidents de Campbell's Bay qui ne se sont pas inscrits, ainsi que les résidents des municipalités voisines, peuvent aussi participer. Nous avons des trousses de radon à distribuer — premier arrivé, premier servi, jusqu’à épuisement des stocks.

Si vous souhaitez participer au Défi Trousse de radon, présentez-vous simplement à l’Hôtel de ville (59, rue Leslie) d’ici le jeudi 11 décembre.

📣 Radon Kit Challenge – Pick-Up Reminder

For those who signed up for the Radon Kit Challenge, please pick up your kit at Town Hall (59 Leslie Street) by Thursday, December 11.

We also have additional kits available! Campbell's Bay residents who did not sign up, as well as residents from neighbouring municipalities, are welcome to participate. We have radon kits to distribute—first come, first served, while supplies last.

If you would like to take part in the Radon Kit Challenge, simply stop by Town Hall (59 Leslie Street) by Thursday, December 11.

The participants of the 24-Hour Challenge – 100 km will be arriving in Campbell’s Bay around 4:00 p.m. at AutonHomme Pontiac (128 Front Street).

Come encourage them and give them a boost — a smile, a cheer, or a quick “great job!” makes all the difference! 👏💛

Nos élèves de l’École secondaire Sieur-de-Coulonge se lancent dans un défi exceptionnel : marcher 100 km en 24 heures pour soutenir Bouffe Pontiac.

• Départ : ESSC – 28 novembre à 12 h
• Campbell’s Bay : 16 h à 17 h 30
• Shawville (soir) : 21 h à 22 h 30
• Bristol : vers 2 h (AM)
• Shawville (déjeuner) : 7 h 30 à 8 h 30
• Arrivée finale – Bouffe Pontiac (Campbell’s Bay) : 29 novembre vers 12 h à 12 h 30

Nous invitons toute la MRC Pontiac à se mobiliser pour créer un corridor d’encouragement tout au long du parcours :

📢 Nouvelle collecte automatisée du recyclage – Les bacs bleus de recyclage sont livrés aujourd’hui ! ♻️💙

Dans le cadre d’un projet régional en collaboration avec la MRC Pontiac, les bacs bleus de recyclage sont livrés aujourd’hui à tous les résidents, commerces et institutions de Campbell’s Bay.

👉 Veuillez NE PAS utiliser votre nouveau bac avant janvier 2026. Le nouveau système automatisé de collecte du recyclage débutera seulement à ce moment.

Plus de détails concernant le nouveau programme seront communiqués bientôt.

🚫 Vous n’avez pas reçu votre bac bleu ?

Veuillez appeler le bureau municipal au 819-648-5811 et il nous fera plaisir de vous aider.

Merci de votre collaboration alors que nous préparons ce service de recyclage modernisé et amélioré !

📢 New Automated Recycling Collection System – Blue Recycling Bins Are Being Delivered Today! ♻️💙

As part of a regional initiative in collaboration with the MRC Pontiac, blue recycling bins are being delivered today to all residents, businesses, and institutions in Campbell’s Bay.

👉 Please do NOT use your new bin until January 2026. The new automated recycling collection system will only begin at that time.

More details about the new program will be shared soon.

🚗 Stationnement h

🚗 Stationnement hivernal – Règlement en vigueur 🚫

Conformément à l’article 7 du règlement municipal S.Q. 2023-01, le stationnement hivernal est interdit du 15 novembre au 15 avril.

Durant cette période, il est interdit de stationner ou d’immobiliser un véhicule routier sur les rues municipales entre minuit et 6 h du matin, afin de permettre le déneigement de façon sécuritaire et efficace.

🚗 Winter Parking Restrictions in Effect 🚫

As per Section 7 of Municipal Bylaw S.Q. 2023-01, winter parking restrictions are in effect from November 15 to April 15.

During this period, it is prohibited to park or stop a vehicle on municipal streets between midnight and 6:00 a.m., to allow for safe and efficient snow removal.

📢 Nouvelle collecte automatisée du recyclage!

Dans le cadre d’un plan régional, la Municipalité de Campbell’s Bay passe à un système automatisé de collecte des matières recyclables.

🟦 Les bacs bleus seront livrés au cours des prochaines semaines à tous les utilisateurs actuels du service de recyclage, y compris les résidences, commerces et institutions.

Veuillez noter que la collecte débutera en janvier 2026. En attendant, n’utilisez pas votre bac bleu avant de recevoir de nouvelles directives.

Merci de votre collaboration et de votre soutien alors que nous passons à un service de recyclage plus efficace et durable!

As part of a regional plan, the Municipality of Campbell’s Bay is transitioning to an automated recycling collection system.

🟦 Blue bins will be delivered over the next 2 weeks to all current users of the recycling service, including residential, commercial, and institutional properties.

Please note that collection will begin in January 2026. In the meantime, do not use your blue bin until you receive further notice.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we move toward a more efficient and sustainable recycling service!

La municipalité de Campbell’s Bay souhaite obtenir l’offre d’achat écrite pour la vente des articles usagés mentionnés ci-dessous. Les soumissions doivent être reçues au plus tard le 17 novembre 2025 à 14h00 à l’Hôtel de ville situé au 59 rue Leslie, Campbell’s Bay. L’enveloppe doit être scellée identifiée « Offre d’achat – (le nom de l’article) Exemple : Offre d’achat – Remorque de paysagement ».

Articles à vendre :
• REMORQUE DE PAYSAGEMENT
• ÉPANDEUR REMORQUÉ POUR SABLE (HYDRAULIQUE)
• SCIE A BÉTON PORTATIVE
• LAME DE DÉNEIGEMENT DE 5’

Une offre distincte doit être soumise pour chaque article.

L’adjudicataire s’engage à payer le prix de vente par chèque, dans les dix (10) jours suivant l’adoption de la résolution par le conseil municipal, prévue pour le 18 novembre 2025.

Les articles sont vendus sans aucune garantie et “tels quels” au moment de la vente. L’adjudicataire est responsable du transport et de la livraison.

Les articles peuvent être inspectés au garage municipal (59, rue Leslie, Campbell’s Bay). Pour toute information, communiquez avec le bureau municipal au 819 648-5811.

La Municipalité ne s’engage pas à accepter la plus haute ni aucune des offres reçues et n’encourt aucune obligation envers les soumissionnaires.

SALE OF SURPLUS ASSETS

The municipality of Campbell’s Bay will accept offers to purchase in writing for these items listed above. The offer must be received at Town Hall located at 59 Leslie Steet, Campbell’s Bay no later than November 17 2025 at 2pm. The envelope must be sealed and clearly marked: « Offer to purchase – item’s name. Example: Offer to purchase – landscaping trailer».

Items for sale:
• LANDSCAPING TRAILER
• TOW BEHIND SAND SPREADER
• HYDRAULIC GAS-POWERED ASPHALT SAW
• 5’ SNOWPLOW BLADE

A separate offer must be submitted for each item.

The successful bidder agrees to pay the sale price by certified cheque within ten (10) days following the adoption of the resolution by Municipal Council scheduled for November 18, 2025.

Items are sold without warranty and “as is” at the time of purchase. The buyer is responsible for transport and delivery.

Items may be viewed at the Municipal Garage (59 Leslie Street, Campbell’s Bay). For more information, contact the Municipal Office at 819-648-5811.

The Municipality reserves the right to accept or reject any and all offers and assumes no obligation toward bidders.
