DESCRIPTION
The public works team of the Municipality of Campbell’s Bay is responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of public infrastructure, roads and sites. The Municipality sees, among other things, the maintenance of the buildings, parks and green spaces of the municipality. To support daily activities, the municipality is looking for a student during the summer to maintain the cleanliness of the premises and beautify the living environment in the municipality.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
. Maintaining the cleanliness of parks (play areas, ball field, wharf, etc.)
. Maintaining the sports grounds
. Painting
. Mowing grass with small equipment and machinery
. Maintaining the cleanliness of public roads and sidewalks (picking up paper, etc.)

ADMISSIBILITY
The candidate must:
1. be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
2. be registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
3. intend to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
4. be a student in a secondary, post-secondary, CEGEP (Quebec only), vocational or technical program;
5. be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations

DURATION:  8 WEEKS FROM JUNE 26 TO AUGUST 19, 2018

SCHEDULE:  MONDAY TO FRIDAY (availability required for certain weekends) – 30 HOURS PER WEEK
